Spanish mezzo-soprano Elena Gragera is known for her themed programming and her long-standing commitment to Spanish music. Accompanied by Antón Cardó on the piano, she offers a programme celebrating two of 2016's most important anniversaries: Spanish Golden-Age author, Miguel de Cervantes (1547-1616) and Romantic Spanish composer, Enrique Granados (1867-1916), whilst also giving a taste of her broad discography, which champions the song catalogues of lesser-known Hispanic authors such as Joaquín Nin-Culmell, Ernesto Halffter and Robert Gerhard, and also includes Canciones para Don Quijote (Songs for Don Quixote) released on the Columna Música label.
