"Sexier than '50 Shades of Grey'."
Bob Geldof
There’s plenty to get your hips swaying in this sultry concert of jazz and Latin-American classical tango. Martin Palmeri’s cult choral masterpiece Misa a Buenos Aires is ingeniously juxtaposed with the Mass in Blue by acclaimed international composer and Guildford resident, Will Todd, which has also fast become one of the most popular modern choral works in the world.
Playing with the Will Todd Ensemble will be the chart-busting Latin American music specialists, the Santiago Quartet, alongside the UK's very own home-grown bandoneon player, Julian Rowlands, and bass player, Tom Mason.
...And if that’s not exciting enough, there will be live tango dancing from dance partners Richard Manuel and Paula Duarte, who performed in Guildford to huge acclaim in the 2018 Spring Music Festival.
