Patricio Sullivan charango & ronroco

Patricio Sullivan stands today as one of the world's most renowned charango players. An arranger, composer and player of multiple string instruments trained in both classical and popular music, his vision and initiatives have helped to elevate the charango to the status of a solo concert instrument. His works include various pieces for charango and orchestra, and he has been invited to perform as guest soloist on numerous occasions with symphony and string orchestras. He has toured Europe several times and has participated in Latin America's most prominent charango festivals. In 2018, he was invited to participate in the prestigious TV show Encuentro en la Cúpula with his Quartet. Sullivan is the creator and director of the Noche de Charanguistas project - an event programmed since 2011 in several world cities, including an annual presentation at the CCK Cultural Centre in Buenos Aires. Sullivan was awarded the Charango de Oro in 2010, and the International Award category at the XXVII Charango Fair and Festival 2019 in Aiquile, Bolivia.
