In collaboration with the 'Piazzolla 100' celebrations held at the CCK in Buenos Aires, Argentina's premier arts complex, we present this special inaugural extravaganza concert, held originally on the date of Piazzolla's anniversary, the 11th March 2021. The event features a star-studded line-up comprising some of Piazzolla's most important collaborators, including tango veterans such Amelita Baltar, Néstor Marconi and José Angel Trelles, alongside a select group of Argentina's most pre-eminent popular and classical artists of today. A great introduction to Piazzolla's music, this programme offers a cascade of his greatest hits, with an array of pieces representative of his various styles, ensembles and periods. Not to be missed! Includes spoken introductions in Spanish.
